Hola & Welcome to our beautiful home in the Tropics!
We are so excited you are considering Pura Vida Casas for your next vacation! Since our very first Surf Trip trip to Costa Rica in 2005, we fell in love with not only the waves but the scenic beauty and tranquility of Costa Rica. We loved our vacation so much, we decided to build our own vacation home there. One home was just not enough, so we built three more! Now all of our family and friends can enjoy the beauties of all of our Costa Rica Vacation Homes. We extend that welcome to you, our new Costa Rica friends! 
The homes were built and designed by George and Katrina Murdoch. They are managed by their son Daniel and his wife Chloe.
The Murdoch Family has spent the past 10 years investing both time and love into the local community which has allowed them to get to know the local area, activities, people and culture very well. They use that compiled knowledge to provide you the best Costa Rica Vacation Possible!

Casa Toucana is a colorful, local style home located near the small village of Esterillos Oeste. Guest enjoy the large salt water pool, ping pong table and luscious gardens where Monkeys and Sloths are common visitors.
3 Bedrooms + 2 baths *Note: Casas Exotica, Oceana & Cielo Azul are located together on the Del Pacifico ranch. They are next to each other and can be rented separately , as a twosome (2) or threesome (3). They offer both togetherness and privacy. It's an ideal setting for family reunions, weddings and large groups of friends.
Conveniently Located
Our vacation homes are situated in Playa Esterillos on the Central Pacific Coast of Costa Rica, a 1.5-2 hours drive from the Capital City of San Jose. They are conveniently located just a few miles from the touristy crowds of both Jaco and Manuel Antonio. They are all very close to many beautiful beaches; Playa Hermosa, Bejuco, Esterillos, Herradura, Escondido. They are also in close proximity to all the fun Activities the area has to offer.
