Since our very first Surf Trip trip to Costa Rica in 2004, we fell in love with not only the waves but the scenic beauty and tranquility of Costa Rica. We loved our vacation so much, we decided to build our own vacation home there. One home was just not enough, so we built three more! Now all of our family and friends can enjoy the beauties of all of our Costa Rica Vacation Homes. We extend that welcome to you, our new Costa Rica friends!

Owners:
George & Katrina
George & Katrina Murdoch are the Owners of Pura Vida Casas & Designers of the Del Pacifico Estate. They live in Santa Barbara California and have 6 grown children. They built the Del Pacifico Estate to be a fun family place for them and others to enjoy special memories together. George aka "Tubular George" is the original Murdoch family "Soul Surfer" and loves ride long clean barrels, build creative & artistic projects as well as play with all the grandkids. Katrina also known as "Frenchie" is originally from Paris, France. She an adventuresome and fun loving spirit with a super eye for design and has provided the artistic touch to the villas interior decor and over all design.
They came to Costa Rica the first time in in the summer of 2004 and bought the land that has now become the Del Pacifico Estate. By 2007 the villas were completed and they started to host guests and groups there in the home individually. Over the years the Estate property has grown and evolved with many improvements added such as the Jungle Event Deck, Chefs Kitchen and more. Now offering all the custom services and amenities needed for hosting spectacular large group vacations. They cant wait to share this very special property with you and your loved ones!

Villa Managers & Concierge:
Daniel & Chloe
Daniel & Chloe are our Villa General Managers. They are here to make sure your experience is great from initial inquiry to the actual stay with us. They have been married for 16 years and have lived here in Costa Rica since 2011 with their 3 children. They have managed the Del Pacifico Estate for the last 10+ years for the Murdoch family. Daniel is George & Katrinas Oldest son, soul surfer, Activity Coordinator and Maintnance Manager. Chloe is a hobby micro farmer, professional photographer and the General Manager for Pura Vida Casas. When not assisting groups at the villas or shooting weddings, they love to travel as a family and explore all over Costa Rica. They would love to point your group in the right direction for all the best adventures Costa rica has to offer!
Event Planning & Social Media:
Noe
Noe is our gifted & talented in house Wedding & Event Planner. She a bilingual Costa Rican who has lived here locally the last 8 years. She is available to help our couples with all their pre-planning needs ensuring our events are seamless and the planning process fun & easy from afar! Noe has a passion for travel, DIY art projects and playing with her Dalmatian puppy Nina at the beach.
Fun fact Noe just this last year got married to here sweet husband Jeff right here at the Del Pacifico Estate!

Onsite Care Takers:
Janeth & Donald

Janet & Donald are our live on site care takers. They help us keep the villas in tip top shape from gardens & pool to cleaning & maintenance. Should you need any assistance with maintenance during your stay they are there to assist you and to also offer daily cleaning services to our guests per request. Janet is a the sweetest and is a super hard working mom of 3. She makes the best tortillas and typical food around! Donald is hard working and a gifted gardener & farmer keeping the ground lush and tropical as well as planting many sustainable crops on the Estate property. They live in the little guest house next to Villa 2 and are there to ensure your stay with us is a clean and comfortable one!
